In a town in Michigan, after having her heart opened to hurting kids, Becky Bliek and many more began showing young people how much God cares about them by showing up in their world and sharing the message of God's love through Jesus in ways and words they could understand and relate to.
Today, we have leaders called from Hopkins, Kalamazoo, Detroit, and Zeeland to serve the high schoolers in Hopkins.
Whether it's seeing them at lunch, or going to their after school events, or kids coming to the YL Barn. We are working with anywhere from 30 to 60 students each week.
High schoolers are going through so many different things. Our goal is to love them without condition. We don't love them only if they walk through our doors. We work to love them how they are and wherever they are.
Volunteer your time to work directly with young people.
Support the staff and leaders as part of the local adult committee.
Give resources to start or sustain the financial foundation at the local or national level.
